Non-Silicone, for use in Photoresist Strippers or other Spray Systems
Defoamer EC-S2 (RDZ-1612) is a fully organic non-Silicone water soluble defoamer that rinses readily and leaves no residue. It is designed for systems where clean rinsing is essential. It is odor-free and biodegradable. Defoamer EC-S2 (RDZ-1612) will defoam most aqueous (water-based) or semi-aqueous systems at any pH. It is ideal for defoaming amine based strippers or cleaners. For Caustic Based Strippers, use Defoamer EC-S (RDZ-1611)MAKE-UP:
100 to 5000 ppm. Try 1000 ppm to start. This is equivalent to 0.10 oz./gallon.
OPERATION:
Use at 100o to 140o F. Defoamer EC-S2 (RDZ-1612) permanently defoams, it is not deactivated or "used up" in solution. However, the more photoresist is dissolved in a solution, the more defoamer will be required to kill the foaming.

Defoamer EC-S2 (RDZ-1612) is compatible with all materials used in equipment.

DISPOSAL:Defoamer EC-S2 (RDZ-1612) is biodegradable and "in use" concentrations may be deposited legally into any sewer system, as long as there are no other contaminants in solution. Dispose of in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations. Contact your RD Chemical representative for further information.

Defoamer EC-S2 (RDZ-1612) is available in 1 gallon bottles, 5 gallon pails, and 15 and 55 gallon drums.
