Developer HC RD-41
For Full Aqueous Dry Film Photoresists
Developer HC (RD-41)is a concentrated system formulated to completely develop ¹Riston, ²Laminar and ³Aqua-mer full aqueous dry films. Developer HC (RD-41) will provide flat trace sidewalls consistently over its useful life, and should be used in conveyorized spray equipment.MAKE-UP:
Fill sump reservoir to half-full with warm water. Soft or deionized water is suggested in areas with extremely hard water. For every 55 gallons of water, add 1 gallon of Developer HC (RD-41).
55 Gallon Preparation
- Part Developer HC (RD-41) 1 gallon
- 54 gallons Warm Water
OPERATION:
In the absence of operating instructions from the photoresist supplier, operating temperature is 85° ± 5° F. After developing, thoroughly spray rinse and force air dry. The pH of the operating bath will be 11.4 (± 0.1). Discard when the pH falls below 10.5 or if developing time increases. When the pH is at 10.5, set the break point towards the middle of the developer chamber by adjusting conveyor speed. When the break point goes beyond this set point, dump and remake developer.
EQUIPMENT:
Use in specially designed conveyorized spray equipment.
SAFETY:
Harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear chemical goggles, gloves and protective clothing. Consult Material Safety Data Sheet for further information.
DISPOSAL:Spent developer solution should contain very low levels of dissolved copper since there are no chelates present. Adjust pH, if required, and dispose of in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations. Contact your RD Chemical representative for further information.
PACKAGING:
Developer HC (RD-41) is available in 15 & 55 gallon drums.
