For Full Aqueous Dry Film Photoresists & Soldermasks

UltraDeveloper (RDX-1076) is a concentrated system formulated to completely develop Riston¹, Laminar² and Aqua-mer³ full aqueous dry films or soldermasks. UltraDeveloper (RDX-1076) will provide flat trace sidewalls consistently over its useful life, and includes a built-in cleaner which will keep developer chambers and pH probes clear of hard water deposits, and resist residue, as well as insure complete developing. This means no more shut downs for clean-outs, with a feed & bleed system.

MAKE-UP:
55 Gallon Preparation

OPERATION:
In the absence of operating instructions from the photo-resist or soldermask supplier, operating temp. is 85 ± 5º F. After developing, thoroughly spray rinse and force air dry. The pH of the freshly made up bath will be 11.4 (±0.1). Discard when the pH falls below 10.5 or if developing time increases. When the pH is at 10.5, set the break point towards the middle of the developer chamber by adjusting conveyor speed. When the break point goes beyond this set point, dump and remake developer. If needed use Developer Defoamer (RD-43).

EQUIPMENT:
Use in conveyorized spray equipment, PVC, Poly or SS.

SAFETY:

Harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wear chemical goggles, gloves and protective clothing. Consult Material Safety Data Sheet for further information.

DISPOSAL:
Although UltraDeveloper (RDX-1076) is chelated, spent solutions should contain only very low levels of dissolved copper. If used in Solder Mask developers, spent solutions may contain dissolved Lead. If feasible, it is recommended that spent UltraDeveloper (RDX-1076) solutions not be put through the clarifier. Dispose of in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations. Contact your RD Chemical representative for further information.

PACKAGING:

UltraDeveloper (RDX-1076) is available in 15 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums.
